Booked here last minute for 1 night in our camper van.
I believe there are wigwams and huts you can hire too.
The owners were very friendly.
The site was clean and well maintained and had lovely views over the moors.
The pitch sizers were also very generous.
The toilet/shower/washing up areas were modern and kept clean and tidy.
There is a pub just as you turn into the site entrance which is handy for a bite to eat or a drink.
All in all a site we will be visiting again.
Also one for the camera as the sun starts to set head over the campsite to where itβs setting for amazing views of it. I was a bit late going but lots of people where there getting a perfect sunset picture.
We was family of 7 so used 2 of the wigwam which ad toilets and hot water and heating apart from mattresses little soft the wigwam were fantastic well looked after clean. The site showers and toilets are of the very best. nice woodland play area (Park) I would recommend to anyone.
On arrival Andrew gave a very warm welcome and assisted with getting the van into the pitch. As a result we were set up in record time.
The amenities are very well maintained.
The views are superb from the upper pitches.
Really short walk back down the drive to The Flask pub for a pint or some very good pub grub.
Nice caravan site. Located close to a good A road (A171) for easy access, the site is located just over a small hill, so no road noise to disturb the peace.
The site caters for tents, touring caravans, motorhomes and has static caravans and pods for hire.
The pitches are good and level and are terraced giving lovely views of the countryside.
There are a number of facility blocks on this sizable site. Understandably, they were not all open in early June as the site was quiet with few people staying. The family shower rooms were open and were nice but unusually didn't have any towels / hand driers, so do take your own towel. Also there wasn't a mop in the showers, which is a shame as most people are happy to mop the shower floor to keep it looking nice and ready for the next person to use.
There's a reception and small shop for essentials.
Also, opposite the entrance to the site, there's a nice pub which serves hearty meals for a fair price.
All in all it's a nice site. π π π π

Lovely park, friendly staff, lots of Local amenities and brilliant pub nearby. Had a lovely stay
Beautiful quiet location between Whitby and Scarborough. Stunning view of the moors. Good facilities for both tourers and seasonal pitches. Highly recommended
Greeted with a smile. Clean and well kept facilities. Great views of the Moors.
